The beautiful cup and saucer was made 1904-1920 and has magenta and turqoise and other color over painting on a transfer of flowers and a landscape with gold trim. The cup is 2.5 inches high and the deep saucer is 5.5 in diameter. The cup and saucer was made to be sold by J.E. Caldwell and Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA and is in excennet condition. This is a Thomas Furnival, Furnival's Ltd. Staffordshire, England antique ironstone blue on white transfer or transferware dinner plate in the Denmark pattern made in 1905-1913. The pattern was actually made until 1968 but the mark dates it to the earlier period. The 10 inch in diameter ironstone plate is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks and only minor use marks. An older example of a popular pattern.

This carpet ball or carpet bowl is over 100 years old and is of original glazed hard fired clay. The design is an interesting one of white and black plaid. Plaid was a favorite of Queen Victoria. The carpet ball is about 3.5 inches in diameter. It is quite heavy. The condition is very good. It has been used,and has 1 area of glaze loss which actually is smooth and feels as if it were done during manufacturing, but as these balls go it's in very good condition. This wonderful 9 inch in diameter luncheon plate is by George Jones Crescent china of England in an embossed design called Shannon with red or pink transfer and is really beautiful 1900-1920. Besides the heavy floral embossing it has wonderful celtic art nouveau red transferware borders. It is in excellent condition with an occasional mineral speck which is normal and is not called a flaw. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $9.90.
