This is a beautiful hardback version of Cranford by Mrs. Gaskell published originally in 1851-1853. This art nouveau golf floral embossed book was published by Henry Altemus, USA in 1899. The book measures 6.5 inches high by 4.25 inches wide when closed, has 193 pages, a color engraving facing the title page and numerous black and white drawings throughout.
