This is a rare and absolutely fabulous antique victorian porcelain drainer dish with under bowl made by Copelands China Spode works Staffordshire England in the 1890s. This is a sweet demitasse teacup and saucer set made in 1918-1919 by Spode Copeland, England in a pattern called June. The cup and saucer is of embossed creamware and features brown transfer designs that were then hand colored. The designs include a rose bouquet and fantasy bird vignettes like pheasants or peacocks. There is a herringbone border as well. The set is in excellent condition, and a wonderful piece of workmanship.
