I bought this white porcelain pie bird in England. It is also called a pie vent or pie funnel. It measures 4 inches high by 2 inches wide by 2 inches deep. It has been used--has some staining. This English pie bird is called a Knobler and was made 1990-1995. I thought it was cute! Pie birds were developed in the 1500s to release steam from a baking pie so the filling didn't boil over. Shipping in the US by USPS Priority Insured with tracking is $7.60.
