This is a fabulous antique woven sewing basket dating 1910-1930s and measuring 4 inches high and 9 inches in diameter. The basket is in excellent condition and most of the original decorations are there including beads, a chinese coin and celluloid rings and bar. I think another coin a several beads have been removed. But it is very difficult to find one with any of the original decorations and an intact undamaged basket. Lovely! This is an antique victorian era treen or wooden potato masher or large darning mushroom, depending on the treen or antique guide you search. The treen potato masher or darning mushroom measures 7 inches long by 5 inches in diameter, is made of oak (I think), has a turned handle and was made around 1900 in England. This is a pretty yellow painted vintage wood English darning mushroom from Gloucester, England. It is made of painted turned wood and measures 4.5 inches long by 2.5 inches in diameter. It was obviously used as there are quite a few scratches on the head where the needle grazed during darning, but generally in very good condition. This is a 1 inch high bone china thimble made in England by a Cornwall china manufactured to commemorate the Royal wedding on April 8, 2005 between Prince Charles of England and Camilla Parker-Bowles his long time flame. his is a neat sewing thimble that I brought back from England recently. It is marked Bone China and the maker CE and has a very pretty design of Anne Hathaway's thatched cottage who was William Shakespeare's love and gold trim. The thimble is 1 inch high by just under 1 inch in diameter. The thimble is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. This is a great antique victorian darning mushroom or darner we brought back from England last trip. This wooden or treen oak darner measures 3.5 inches long by 2.75 inches in diameter with a hand turned handle and dates from the 1880-1900. It has great patina and I love the use scars on it and the feel. That's character for you. A great piece and very collectible. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured with tracking is $7.60.
