This is a great art deco design bone china tea cup and saucer made in the Perth shape by Shelley China, England. It is the Dog Rose pattern #097 and was made 1939-1960 for the Canadian market. The cup and saucer features pink and blue dog roses with grey leaves and gold trim and a wonderful streamlined shape. Very art deco! This is an elegant antique English pressed glass knife rest in the form of a bunched drapery or draped curtain with raised scalloped ends. The knife holder measures 1.5 inches high by 3.75 inches long by 1 inch wide and was made 1900-1920. It is part of an estate collection of knife rests I acquired recently and is in excellent, mint condition. A pretty way to keep the tablecloth clean.
