This is a fabulous and unusual piece of English Crested China or Crested Ware in the form of a pig's foot or trotter in a hand bearing the coat o arms of Bolton England and the motto or saying A Good Hold On A Bolton Trotter. The ceramic teapot is double faced and hand painted and measures 8 inches long by 6.5 inches high by 5.5 inches in diameter. The toby teapot is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This is a wonderful antique french part frosted or satin glass figural fish shape knife rest or knife holder dating to 1890-1915. The fish measures 1 inch high by 3.5 inches long by .5 wide and is marked on the foot Depose YER. Depose was not used in France after 1915. The fish is in excellent, mint condition. This is a pretty antique mid victorian pair of silver plate knife rests I got in England recently. The knife rests measure 3 inches long and are 1 inches high and wide and the ends have a maltese cross like shaped end with a fancy barley twist bar. The pair of antique knife holders is in excellent condition and were made in the 1850-1870s and are very decorative as well as practical to keep the tablecloth clean. This carpet ball or carpet bowl is over 100 years old and is of original glazed hard fired clay. The design is an interesting one of white and pink or red plaid. Plaid was a favorite of Queen Victoria. The carpet ball is about 3.5 inches in diameter. It is quite heavy. The condition is very good.
