This is a vintage clear pressed glass cheese dish called a Sanitary Cheese Preserver from the 1930s. The dish measures 6.5 inches high by 7.5 inches in diameter and features an internal stand. The directions are on the lid Keep cheese in foil, parchment or waxed paper. Put plain water in bottom. Change twice weekly. Maytag Dairy Farms, Newton, Iowa. This is a super antique art deco handpainted enamel or enamelware bread or biscuit bin made by the famous Tala company of England in 1910-1930s that I brought home recently. It measures 18 inches by 10.5 inches by 6.25 inches. It is in very good condition and has only the 2 enamel chips you can see in the photos. A great design so evocative of the period. This cute little Friar Tuck line or brown monk or little monk with a red bible hand painted ceramic salt shaker was made by Goebel or Hummel, West Germany. The salt measure 3 inches high with black shoes and has the 3rd mark or 1957-1964 stylized bee. The little monk or Friar Tuck is in very good condition with no cracks and only 2 tiny little chips. This is a neat antique knife rest from England. The knife rest is of faceted, cut crystal with a diamond cut handle and hexagonal ends. The condition is good ++ with no cracks or major chips but there are tiny use chips and wear which give it character. It is about 3 inches in length and was made in England in the 1890-1900s. These 2 salt dishes, open salts or salt dips are French and measure 4.25 inches by 2.5 inches by 1.5 inches high. They have reeded bodies and tight scalloped edges. This is an elegant english vintage sterling silver hallmarked napkin ring I brought back recently from England. The napkin ring measures 1.75 inches in diameter and stands .75 inches high. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1930 and has an engine turned design, a slightly angled or beveled rim and a cartouche that has no monogram. It is a lovely piece and in very good condition.
