This is a lovely set of English white ironstone salt and pepper from the Staffordshire potter A.J. Wilkinson in Burslem, England. It has a lovely transfer printed red floral design. The salt and pepper shakers were made @1900. There are old rubber stoppers, one a bit chewed and I don't know if they are original but I would doubt it. They do say made in England. The set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restorations. Shipping in the US by USPS insured with tracking is $7.60.

This is a great pie bird or pie funnel or pie vent I brought back from England in white stoneware or ironstone. It makes me think of a hungry baby bird with it's mouth so wide open. The pie bird measures 4.25 inches high by 2 inches long by 1.75 inches wide. It was made in the 1940-1950s and is in good used condition. It needs a clean from use & has a tiny beak tip chip & one tiny chip on a foot. It is really cute. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured with tracking is $7.60.

This antique white porcelain pie vent, pie bird or pie funnel was made in the late Victorian or early Edwardian period and dates to the 1890-1910. The pie vent measures 3 inches high by 1.25 inches in diameter and was made in Staffordshire, England and I got it in the Potteries district recently. The pie vent is unusual as it is porcelain and not stoneware and is in very good condition but does have a chipped rim. There is some crusting around the chimney as it was obviously used. A fun piece. A ...click for details

I don't know if you would call the pattern pressed into the bottom of this master salt dish I brought home recently from England a leaf or a star. This is a very old master open salt or salt dip, dating to 1890-1910. It measures 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches by 2.75 inches high. It is in very good condition but it does have a small shallow chip on a bottom corner measuring approximately .75 of an inch. You can only see it if you turn the piece over. Otherwise very good. This is the cutest set of b ...click for details

This is a neat pair of EPNS English silver sugar tongs or sugar nips. The sugar tongs are marked in the inside of the bow but I can't make it out, but they were made in England 1930-1940s and measure 4.5 inches long. The apostle design is neat and would be a classy way to serve your one lump or two at your next tea party. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $7.90.

This is an antique victorian silver plated knife rest I brought back from England recently. The knife rest has ball ends rather like a satellite and a center bar like a turned banister. The knife rest dates to 1890-1910. The knife rest measures 4.25 inches long and stands 1.75 inches high and could be considered a carving knife rest.
Knife rests were a victorian invention to keep the table cloth clean. It is really cute and quite collectible. Shipping in the US by USPS Priority insured.
