The large plate is in the Empress pattern in the green colorway in the round notched shape with gold trim. The plate has gorgeous mixed flower bouquets and shiels. The jug measures 6.75 inches high by 6.5 inches wide by 5 inches in diameter. It was made 1920-1930s and is of a style called Ivory Ware. The design is brightly hand painted and hand gilt after the Japanese Imari popular at the time. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restorations and showing little if any wear.
