This is a fabulous Staffordshire, England bone china paperweight, posy or ornament that is a hand made bouquet of flowers in a white ribbed vase. It is rare to find older pieces in such good condition! This piece was made in the 1930s by Radnor China of Staffordshire, England and measures 3.5 inches high by 3 inches in diameter and features a pink or plum colored carnation-type flower, a pale yellow rose and a green centered pink cosmos or anemone. There are also green leaves. We watched craftsman making these at the factory workrooms in Stoke On Trent and were amazed at the skill and time it took to make each part of these arrangements by hand from a lump of clay. Beautiful! This posy in in very good condition. The only flaws are a crack in a rose petal and a hairline underneath a petal that were made in manufacture as they are glazed over from firing. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $9.90.
