This is a nice medal made to commemorate the marriage of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mary who was the daughter of King George V and Queen Mary of England on the occasion of her marriage in 1922. The medal has her birth date in 1897 and her married name which was the Countess Lascelles. The princess was famous and much loved for her World War I gifts of cigarettes and chocolates in brass boxes bearing her likeness to the troops. The medal measures overall 1 inch in diameter. The medal is in good condition with a few oxidation spots.
