This is a crested china bone china creamer or cream jug and sugar bowl or sugar basin basin in an unknown shape with gold trim made by Shelley China of England. The pattern is a black transfer of Ye Olde Mint House Pevensey, Sussex. The mark is the usual Shelley green shield and dates the set to 1910-1920. The creamer measures 2.75 high and the sugar basin measures 2.25 inches high by 3.75 inches in diameter. The set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear.
