This is a neat English salt glazed earthenware pitcher or jug made in 1910-1920s in Staffordshire, England that I brought home recently from England. The jug measures 6.75 inches high and is 5.75 inches in diameter. It has a raised design on one side of a pub drinking scene, and the other is a traditional one of witches pulling the tail off a horse on the hunting field...which have been identified as the legend of Tam O'Shanter, in 2 tone stoneware. The pitcher or jug is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Very decorative. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $18.85.
