Chelsea Cup And Saucer Adderleys Grandmothers Sprig
This is a wonderful Chelsea or Grandmother's Ware teacup and saucer made by Adderleys pottery in Longton, Staffordshire region of England between 1890-1910. The victorian pattern is actually called Blue Sprig or Chelsea Sprig. The pretty cup and saucer set is of white molded ironstone with applied blue floral sprigs. The cup measures 3 inches high by 4 inches in diameter and the saucer is 6.25 inches in diameter. The tea cup and saucer are in very good condition with no chips, or cracks. There are a mineral dust speck or two and an under glaze saucer nick all normal in pieces of this age. A wonderful and very collectible piece. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured.
