English Darning Mushroom Treen Yellow Paint Darner

This is a pretty yellow painted vintage wood English darning mushroom from Gloucester, England. It is made of painted turned wood and measures 4.5 inches long by 2.5 inches in diameter. It was obviously used as there are quite a few scratches on the head where the needle grazed during darning, but generally in very good condition. Painted darners are very rare and this darning mushroom is very pretty. This darner or darning mushroom was made in England in the 1920s. Shipping in the US by USPS priority.
