This is a lovely hand painted over brown transfer imari plate measuring 6.5 inches in diameter made in England by Wm. Hudson of Longton, Staffordshire England 1892-1905. Imari became popular with the influence of japanese ceramics at that time. It features flow blue, rust and green hand painted onto a brown floral stylized design transfer with gold trim. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restorations but does a minor bit of gold wear. A lovely piece.
