Blue Transferware Plate Monticello Ridgways England

This is a vintage ironstone blue transferware or transfer ware plate that is 9.75 inches in diameter. This great plate was manufactured by the Olde English Staffordshire Ware Company, a division of Ridgways , England for John H. Roth and Co. USA between 1933-1956. This plate was made to commemorate Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's plantation in Virginia. It is a lovely pattern, very intricate especially the flower and fruit border. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restorations. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured.
