Antique Bermuda Chintz Tab Handled Cake Plate Myott

This is a Bermuda Chintz tab handled cake plate by Myott, Son and Company, England from the 1930s. This ironstone platter or tab handled cake plate measures 10.5 inches high by 11.5 inches wide. The chintz pattern is of hand colored roses on a brown transferware background. Very few pieces other than cups, saucers and small plates are seen in this pattern. This cake plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is some crazing. An exceptional piece, very decorative, collectible and hard to find.
