Antique Knife Rest Double Thistle Ends Scottish Silver

This is a fabulous antique knife rest I brought home from England recently. The silver plated knife rest has double thistle ends with leaves for support and measure 1.25 inches high by 4.5 inches long and were made in England 1920-1930s. The thistle is the symbol of Scotland and this would be perfect on a tartan tablecloth set for tea with bannocks and marmalade! Knife rests were a neat victorian gadget to keep your tablecloth clean by holding up your knife. This knife rest is in excellent, mint condition. Lovely!
