| This is a blue jasper or jasperware lidded cylinder box with lid made by Wedgwood, Barlaston, Staffordshire, England with applied white jasper applied decoration of a classical design called Sacrifice Figures. The lidded cylinder box was made in 1968 and measures 4.5 inches high by 3.4 inches in diameter. These covered boxes can be used for candy, cigarettes, cotton balls or, in one case I know of for a pet's ashes. It is in excellent condition. A beautiful decorative item of typical Wedgwood quality. We loved watching the skill used to do this at the Wedgwood factory. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $11.90. | ||||||||
