This is a fabulous sugar bowl in the shape of a coal scuttle that is called a sugar scuttle. The sugar scuttle was made in England in the 1920-1930s of pressed blue glass with a wire handle or bale and was to hold lumps or cubes of sugar. I have often had silver scuttles but this is the first glass scuttle I have found on my antiquing in England. The scuttle measures 3 inches high by 4 inches long by 2 inches wide and is in excellent condition. A very unique and cute addition to any tea table. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured is $7.90.
