Eric Slater Shelley Old England Plate Signed Art Deco

This is an 8 inch square cabinet plate from the 1930s featuring a thatched cottage on a village street titled Old England. The display plate has an art deco square shape and deco ochre or gold border and the design is handpainted and signed by the artist Eric Slater who was Shelley art director at that time. The decorative landscape plate is a design called English Cottage and is part of the Old England series. The plate shows some wear and utensil marks but no chips or cracks and is in very good condition. A really attractive English nostalgic rural scene. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured.
