This is a bit of history. This brass souvenir tea caddy was manufactured by Lipton Tea for the 1925 British Empire Exhibition in London, England in 1925 and was the height of art deco style. The commemorative tea caddy or tea canister has the dedication on a band around the middle and the raised Empire Exhibition lion on the front and the Lipton logo on the base and measures 4.25 inches high by 4.75 inches in diameter. There are several dents to the bottom caused by Mother bouncing it off Father's head when he came home late from the pub! Shipping in the US by USPS Priority insured.
