This is an imari pattern teacup trio consisting of a cup and saucer with matching plate made by Royal Standard, England 1916-1930. The antique cup is 3 inches high, the saucer is 5.5 in diameter and the plate is 6.25 in diameter. The imari pattern was popularized in the victorian period by the discovery and popularity of the Japanese china from the Imari region that featured bright cobalt blue, red and green. This cup, saucer and plate has all of those colors and features rosebuds, fans and hearts with a sepia transferware design that has been hand colored and hand applied gold trim and accents. The set is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks and only minor gold wear. A gorgeous set! Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured.
