Wilkinson Square Butter Pat English Brn Transferware

This is an A. J. Wilkinson, England square antique ironstone butter pat, butter chip or small butter dish made of brown transferware that has been hand colored. The transferware butter pat measures 2.25 inches square and was made 1891-1894. The design is a floral with gold trim. The butter pat or butter dish is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks. There is a bit of gold loss. Butter pats are being used currently as ring dishes, teabag holders and for sushi and sauces. A cute, small and pracical work of art and victoriana. Shipping in the US by USPS first class insured.
