Biscuit Barrel Wedgwood Jasper Dip Offering To Peace
This is an antique Wedgwood, England jasper or jasperware biscuit jar, biscuit barrel, cracker jar or cookie jar made in 1880-1891. The biscuit barrel is of rare light blue jasperware dip in the Offering To Peace design with silverplated fittings, lid and handle. The biscuit jar is in the Globe or Barrel shape and measures 6.5 inches in diameter by 9.5 inches high including the handle and 6.5 inches high to the top of the finial. The marks are impressed WEDGWOOD and ENGLAND. The jasperware barrel in in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or restorations and the only flaw a bit of discoloring on the metal rim edge. A wonderful and decorative piece. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured signature required.
