| This is an antique English figural design toast rack or toast holder shaped like a gondola with gondolier. The very unusual EPNS silver plated toast rack holds 8 slices and measures 5 inches high by 9 inches long by 3.5 inches wide and was made 1900-1920. The workmanship is superb. The spacers are semi barley twist in design with a rope gallery. The original oar is intact. The toast rack is in excellent condition and would be a show stopping (or breakfast or tea stopping) decorative centerpiece for any table. Toast racks are also extremely popular as letter racks and napkin holders as well and this is probably nearly one of a kind. From our recent buying trip.
