Wedgwood Black Jasperware Box Star Shaped Aurora Dawn

This is a Wedgwood, England star shaped black jasper or jasperware lidded box with applied white jasper classical figures of Aurora And The Chariot Of Dawn and cherubs or cupids on the sides in several activities made in 1972. The box measures 1.5 inches high by 4 inches long by 3.25 inches deep and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or missing pieces. We have watched these painstaking process of making these items at the Wedgwood factory in Barlaston, England and were so impressed by the skill and time the process entailed.
