Fancy Nutcracker Crossover Plier Embossed Handles UK

This antique English nutcracker dates to the 1890s and measures 5.5 inches long. The cast iron nutcracker is a pliers type nutcracker that is convertible with 2 pierced and toothed oval areas at the top of the handles to grip the nuts. The nutcracker has tapering handles with an embossed floral pattern on the turned rings of each handle. I brought it back recently from England. The nutcracker is in very good ++ condition but obviously used and shows wear. There was a nickel plating at one time but it is mostly worn off. Shipping in the US by USPS first class insured.
