A nice Victorian Era Art Glass biscuit jar with metal mountings. Made in Bohemia by one of the large glass houses such as Loetz, Kralik or Pallme Konig. Including handle the jar is 9 1/2" and is 5 1/2" at its widest. Circa 1900.
This is a fine example of a variant in the titiania decor by Loetz, called GrunMetallin. Stands 6" tall by 2 1/2" at its widest. Circa 1905-20. See www.loetz.com and Bohmisches Glas by Ricke for more information and photo references.
This miniature Loetz vase is in cobalt blue and stands slightly under 5 1/2" tall and is again slightly under 4" at its widest point. The pontel on this particular piece has not been polished but the rim on the top however has been fire polished.
