Beautiful Art Nouveau pill box in sterling silver. The box has an embossed picture of a typical Art Nouveau woman. On the inside of the lid the previous owner had pasted on a clip out of a woman who looks similar to the one on the lid. The box measures just over 2" long 1 3/4" thick and is 1/2 deep.
This is a fine silver plate matchstick or toothpick holder with two dogs and a basket. Signed on base of the basket James W. Tufts Boston Warranted Triple Plate 2683. Also signed on the base with a patent date, but it is too faint to read in full. One dog has black glass eyes. Measures 5 1/2 inches long by 3 1/4 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches in height.
