An early English Sterling Silver double watch chain. The chain is made up of a very heavy link that begins up by the T-bar and tapers as it goes down towards the swivel end. A finely carved Japanese Bone Letter Opener or Page Turner. Measuring 7 in. Long by 1 in. wide and in good condition; a small, very old chip to the edge as seen in photo. One side depicts a man in traditional wardrobe and the reverse shows a woman. Nice patina from age.
A fantastic Art Deco 14kt White Gold, Shell Cameo and Onyx Flip Ring with Diamonds. The filigree mounting is artfully made in a beautiful pattern with small flowers and surrounds the cameo. One of the best Victorian Micro Mosaic pieces I have seen in quite a while. It pictures the Colliseum in Italy and is finely handmade from numerous minute pieces of colored glass. Bezel set in silver and measuring 7/8 in.Long by 5/8 in. Wide. Excellent condition and ready to be set into a piece of fine jewelry.
A beautiful set of twelve Cut Crystal Champagnes by Hawkes. These glasses have hand cut designs on the bowl, stem and foot that were done by the master craftsmen of this New York Company. Hawkes sometimes used Steuben blanks for pieces like these. Each glass is in very good condition, stands 6 in. High by 4 in. Wide and is signed "HAWKES" on the base. Steuben produced this Art Deco Crystal vase in a Grotesque pattern in the 1920's-1930's. Under the direction of Frederick Carder this American firm made world-class art glass. The firm of Val St Lambert produced this eye-catching compote. It stands 5 1/2 in High by 5 1/2 Wide and is a fantastic golden yellow color. Covering the surface is an Art Deco pattern in Gold Gilding and an engraved pattern of grapes and leaves. Very good condition with some wear to gilding. An extremely rare piece of early European Art Glass that is hard to find on today’s' market.
A fantastic pair of iridescent art glass vases attributed to Loetz. These pieces are made of Amethyst glass covered by a superb layer or multi colored iridescence. Very good condition; 8 1/4 & 8 in High by 4 1/4 in Wide. Available as either a pair or separately.
This vase is a very fine example of the work produced by Rindskopf in Bohemia, circa 1910. It has a wonderful form, very strong irridescence and silver foil inclusions. A fine example of the quality glass produced by Loetz in Bohemia, circa 1910. The vase has a beautiful green base color covered by a nice pattern of oil spots and lines, similar to their creta pampas pattern.
