An absolutely gorgeous English cameo glass vase by Thomas Webb & Sons. This vase is rarer than most, due to the three color layers used to carve the realistic portrayal of flowers, vines and leaves. The reverse side of the vase bears the classic Webb butterfly in fine detail. The colors present are White over Raspberry over a vibrant Yellow with a White Opal lining. SOLD 

This wonderful decanter in pink rosaline & alabaster is a fantastic example of the work of Frederick Carder. Manufactured at Stevens & Williams it is reminiscent of the style that appears in his later work at Steuben. Standing slightly over 12 inches Tall by 4 1/2 inches wide the vase is in excellent condition. The body of the decanter is rosaline, as is the hollow ball of the stopper,while the applied foot and lower portion of the stopper are alabaster. Polished pontil.

This vase is an beautiful example of cameo glass produced in the late eighteen hundreds by the English firm of Stevens and Williams. It is the type of glass that Frederick Carder produced when he worked at this firm before coming to America and running Steuben.
