| This vase is a very fine example of Durand's blue hanging hearts done on a base of gold lustre, c.1915. Signed on the underside of the foot "Durand 2028 1/2 - 8". The vase is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It has a polished pontil and fire polished rim. The vase stands 8 1/4" tall and is about 3 1/4" at its widest point. It may be referenced in Meschi's book Drand The Man and His Glass. | |||||||
