Imperial Lustre Vase - Freehand
This vase is a nice example of the work done by the Imperial Glass Company during the early part of last century. Produced in the Orange Lustre decor of their Imperial Freehand Line this vase is very striking to behold. It is cased with a white interior and a lusterous orange and golden yellow exterior. Vases of this type were produced to provide an affordable alternative to works by Steuben, Tiffany, Durand and Quezal. They have become increasingly difficult to find and are gaining in value on a constant basis. Polished pontil and fire polished rim. 7 3/4 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches Diameter. Very good condition with no chips cracks or repairs - some surface scratches.
