| This extremely rare vase is a truly spectacular example of American art glass, circa 1900. Made by Tiffany, but unsigned this vase was made in the very early years of production at Corona, circa 1897-99. Fresh from Upstate New York this vase is sleek and graceful in both form and decor. Encircling the body is a stunning pulled feather or waveform pattern in Gold and Green. Interspersed among the background pattern is a series of Six Hanging Hearts. A strong iridescent finish with Gold, Purple and Green highlights enlivens the entire surface of this fantastic piece. In excellent condition this vase measures 5 inches Tall by 3 3/4 inches in Diameter. Polished pontil and fire polished rim. As collectors of this type of glass know, pieces of this decor and quality are very rare and highly sought after due to their craftsmanship. Tiffany may be referenced in Millers Art Glass on page 82-85 and in Art Glass nouveau by Grover on pages 79-117. Overall, this vase is an outstanding example of American art glass that would compliment other pieces by Tiffany, Steuben, Quezal or Loetz.
