| This miniature vase was made by Daum in the Nancy region of France, circa 1900. The glass composing the vase is a striking mix of red and yellow. Although unadorned in this instance, this is the same glass used as a basis for backgrounds on more advanced cameo glass pieces. The ovoid body is signed in cameo on the side with the DAUM NANCY signature and the CROSS OF LORAINE. The vase also bears an extremely rare paper label that reads "MAJORELLE MC'UBLES DART PARIS NANCY LYON". Measuring 3 inches high by 3 3/4 inches in diameter the vase is in excellent condition. | ||||||
