|A superb piece of Blue Aurene glass made under the direction of Frederick Carder at the Steuben Glass works, circa 1920's. Standing a foot tall this impressive handled vase, form 6630, is magnificent to behold. It measures 7 inches at its widest point and has fabulous iridescence in Purple, Green, & Gold. Fire polished rim; snapped of pontil. Signed "Steuben Aurene 6630" on the underside of base. Very good condition with a few scratches, but no chips, cracks or repairs. The vase may be referenced in Gardner on page 283 in the form section and a similar form is seen on the cover of the book by Dimitroff. A must have for the serious collector of Steuben, Tiffany, Durand, Quezal or Loetz.|
