| This beautiful vase was produced by Durand, circa 1920's. A fine example of their Blue Lustre glass it has a very strong platinum blue iridescent finish covering the entire piece. Very good condition with a fire polished rim and polished pontil. A few straw marks are present on the side of the vase, but do not detract from its beauty. Signed in pontil Durand V 20172-5. Measuring 5 in. Tall, this vase is a truly beautiful piece of American Art Glass. Glass of this type may be referenced in Durand The Man and His Glass by Meschi. | |
