he barrel is carved with Pine Bamboo and Plum blossoms. At one end there is a lotus bud with moving seeds (all present) and a very nice frog in relief Length is 8 cm Modest stable crack.

This is a Qing dynasty official all kitted out in his robe with a finial on his hat and a rank badge on his chest. He looks old and wizened. This a wood statue; carved first then covered in lacquer circa 1800.

this pot has had a hard life of late, it was obtained in Beijing , then sent to HK then to the US and then back to Beijing it is ready to travel again it is in very good condign but has a few cracks from the Beijing weather it has animals in the design
