| zitan purse clasp. The back is not carved, the front is carved with what seems like a bat at the top, a lizard on one side and a monkey perhaps in the center. This piece is light for zitan, it is probably 200 years old, maybe more. excellent condition. Roughly 6.5 cm long by 3.5 cm wide. This clasp would have been used to keep a very elegant embroidered purse or bag closed properly. Ivory one has no carving; it is 2.5 cm wide, 4.5 cm long. | ||||||||||
