Japan Tetsubin-style Ceramic Teapot 19th Century
Originally, I thought this was an Yixing teapot. I now think not. Rather it is a Japanese ceramic teapot modeled on a tetsubin, a cast iron Japanese teapot. The last image shows the seal of a maker or a kiln, we do not know. Tetsubin are not rare, ceramic pots modeled on them are. Late 19th Century. (Some teapots used in Hanto prints of Haku Maki look quite like this one..)
