a superb 18th century vietnamese buddha
several lacquer levels where we found silver sheet on top of gold leaf
the buddha comes from the collection of doctor "camboulive"who was director of the veterinarian school who lived in hanoi between 1895 to 1920
the serenity expression of the face is rather rare on vietnamese buddha whose style is rather stereotyped .
the surface has traces of use,damages (some parts are very fragile ,and is restorated at the right shoulder
