Shaker candlestick, referred to as a shoemaker's candlestick, hand turned in maple. Center spindle is a hand carved screw and the candle stands turn effortlessly up and down the spindle, presumably to move the candle closer to the work at hand for better illumination. Stamped Shaker Works. In very good condition, works terrific. Late 20th century, probably 1970. 14" wide x 17" high x 6 3/4" diameter.
