A Chinese ivory card case of exceptional thickness, one face which is slightly domed- shaped is deeply carved with a profusion of flowers and foliage against a diaper ground . The reverse which is flat has shallower relief with scenes of figures in pavilions and a vacant cartouche. The edges are carved with leaf motif.size: 4 1/2inches (11.5cm) x 3inches (7.5cm) x 5/8 inches(1.5cm) thick.Age: C. 1900. condition : very good.We can obtain CITES Export Licence , if necessary (2/3 weeks)
