A famille rose deep dish, made in China and bearing the Royal emblem of Persia, Lion and Sun and the date 1306 (Hijri) corresponding to 1888.It was adopted by Mohammad Shah Qajar(1834-48) and remained the national emblem till 1979.The dish is enamelled with a central bouquet of flowers and borders of diaper design and garlands. A rare and unusual Export item. size:9 1/2 in.(24cm) diameter. condition: very good, no breaks, no restoration. provenance: from an old collection in France.

A very collectable Chinese Export famille rose cup made after a Meissen original and bearing blue underglaze marks of Augustus Rex.Of quatrefoil shape, it is decorated with two panels depicting a European couple in the open air,whilst the sides show a black and green pattern and whole is highlighted with gilt.This group of Export ware were made in small numbers and not many have survived.Age: C. 1870. A boxwood Goa figure of Christ, standing with a hand on his chest wearing a full-length cloak- benevolent and gracious countenance. The patination is soft brown/yellow, faithfully reproduced in the picture, features detailed well executed.Size: 7in. (18cm) high. Age: 19th C. Condition: very good.

This fine Chinese famille rose pair of Qianlong plates are beautifully enamelled with a large jardiniere of flowers in the centre, surrounded by a dense circular band of foliage and blooms. The colours are vibrant, the gilt and enamelling in very good order and the profusion of pink makes the plates striking.Age: Qianlong (1736-95). size: 9 3/4in. (25cm) diameter.Condition: Excellent, no restoration, no breaks.
