A ruby matrix carving of a dragon clutching a pearl, very finely worked and cleverly exploiting the green and black parts of the rock to form the animal's coiled body and spots. The red colour is translucent and natural and the item very decorative. size: 2 1/4 inches (5.5cm) high , 2 3/8 inches ( 6cm) wide.
