| A Chinese ivory brush pot,made from the wide section of a tusk, magnificently carved all over with a continuous scene of warriors fighting against a mountainous background and a river with a boat . This is a detailed and busy tableau deeply carved and conceived as a fast moving and life -like battle scene where you can sense the energy and aggression .In very good condition, this 19C. carving is a highly desirable object. size: 7 1/2 inches (19.5cm) high , maximum diameter of the tusk at the top is 10.5 cm. condition: excellent, a few age related lines on the rim as seen in the images.
