A pair of small Chinese silver planters of bulbous shape and fluted, standing on four legs and under stretchers which simulate bamboo stems. They contain silver stalks bearing leaves enamelled in green and blue. I would describe them as appealing and whimsical objects of virtu. size: 14.5 cm high. weight: 65 grams and 61 g. ( 2.30 and 2.15 oz.). Maker: CW ( probably Cum Wo of Queens Rd. Hong Kong). Age: C. 1900. condition; the planters are in very good condition, the enamelled leaves have some losses to the enamel.
